Adrenaline junkies, lovers of the outdoors and film fans should mark down Friday night on their calendars, as the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival’s Best of the Fest Tour will hit the Della Herman Theatre for two and a half hours of movie madness.
The event, presented by and in benefit of the Bulkley Backcountry Ski Society and the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition, will feature the kayaking film WildWater, as well as movies representing skiing, biking, climbing, mountaineering and environmental films. There will also be door prizes from C.O.B., Aquabatics and Valhalla Pure.
Tickets are $12 in advance from Valhalla Pure, or $15 at the door. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a 7 p.m. showtime.
