The company issued this statement today, Jan. 19, in their daily weather report:
Hudson Bay Mountain is closed Thursday due to unseasonably cold temperatures. As a company we place the safety of our guests and HBM Team first. The forecast is for warmer temperatures and we are expecting to be open on Friday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Hudson Bay Mountain ski hill was announced closed at approximately 7 a.m. this morning due to what they are calliing "unseasonably cold temperatures."
Nancy Treiber, Hudson Bay Mountain general manager, said that they intend to open the hill again tomorrow, Jan. 19.
They did not provide a temperature of what it was on the hill, but the conditions at Smithers Airport was -32C.
