Smithers Special Olympics handed out bowling awards recently and the event concluded with a very important trophy, the Athletic Achievement Award.
Bobbi Lin Legere was given the honour, for her final year of bowling.
She has been bowling since 1978 and she’s wrapped it up after 32 years.
When she was just eight years old she went to Victoria for competitions and has been in numerous provincial games and qualified for four national games.
Her other sports included swimming, track and field, curling, soccer and floor hockey.
