The Northwest Fire Centre is currently battling a blaze in the Telkwa Mountain range.
The lightning caused fire is burning 15 km west of Houston on the south west side of the Bulkley River.
It is approximately 3-5 hectares in size.
“We have crews on site, two helicopters, heavy equipment, two tanks actioning the fire,” said fire information officer Olivia Pojar.
She added there isn't any danger posed to any structures at this time.
