Bulkley Valley and Coast Mountains schools start Monday

Schools in the Bulkley Valley and Coast Mountains school districts start Monday.

The extended summer vacation for students in the Bulkley Valley and Coast Mountains school districts is over Monday.

Both districts are starting with the usual introductory half days Monday, with full classes starting on Tuesday. Specific start times for individual schools can be found on their webpages.

Teachers voted Thursday to accept the six-year agreement between the British Columbia Teachers’ Federation and the provincial government. The province has said the school year would not be extended to make up for the loss of school hours.
