My wife and I are in the process of pulling up stakes and moving to Victoria to start our retirement. After 36 years of living in this beautiful valley and making countless friends in the communities up and down its length, we have some very mixed feelings about leaving. I, personally, have enjoyed the incredible opportunity to teach many of the people who have attended local schools over the last four decades. My best wishes go to those who have committed to staying around to make this area and even more vibrant place to live. The setting and scenery are definitely factors in its favour.
