In a musical celebration, the Valley Youth Fiddlers held a family dance, March 15, 2025.
The dance was a perfect opportunity for Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrack to present Leslie-Jean MacMillan with the King Charles III Coronation Medal for leadership in her community (a photo was published in the March 20, 2025 The Interior News, page A11).
Leslie-Jean's 25-year musical commitment to this valley has brought together not just the fiddlers, but a wealth of backup musicians and dance callers who provide a venue for those who love to dance.
The next family dance is scheduled for April 16 at the Glenwood Hall in Driftwood.
