Following a dream becomes a family affair for Clydesdale farmer

Teri Goodrick will compete with her two-year-old daughter in the light horse show this weekend

Following a dream can become a family affair with a little adjustment.

Teri Goodrick always wanted to be a Clydesdale farmer. With a steady focus she is doing that. But her Clydesdales are too big for an enthusiastic two-year-old and Teri's daughter, Skyler, loves to ride.

Teri adjusted her dream to include riding horses and the two will be competing in the light horse show this year at the Bulkley Valley Exhibition.

Skylar's daddy, Luke Hill, also stepped up to the plate and will be competing with Teri's beautiful Clydesdales, 10-year-old Flossie and 11-year-old Fiona in the heavy-horse pull at the rodeo grounds.

Teri has shown her team of recognized draft horses for four or five years and says it's great if fans come out and watch.

We can catch the heavy-horse pull in the rodeo grounds from 11 a.m. all three days. The rodeo starts when the heavy-horse competition is over.
