December 1, 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late William "Blair" Lingard announce his sudden but peaceful passing at his home in Badger on the 1st of December at the age of 61.

Blair was kind and open hearted, always putting others first. He loved to spend time with family and friends at the Lingard's family cabins in Millertown Junction and at the Gaff Topsails. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, ski doo rides and the outdoors and was always happy to share whatever he had and the cabin with everyone he met. He always had an infectious smile and a hearty contagious laugh and found so much joy being surrounded by family and friends. He definitely lived life to the fullest.

He worked hard all his life and was a dedicated and knowledgeable craftsman, not just a carpenter but a master builder. He spent over 20 years in British Columbia raising his family before moving home to Newfoundland where he has resided for the last 7 years.

He will be deeply missed, but will live on in those that were blessed to have known him. He was a very loving son, father, brother and beloved Uncle Blair.

He was predeceased by his mother Gloria Violet (nee Peyton), step mother Christine Lingard and nephew Michael Lingard.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters Keesha Lingard (Camilla) and Brianne Lingard (Ben), father Mont Lingard, brothers Brad Lingard, Craig Lingard (Lizzie), Cory Lingard (Alicia) and sister Tammie Cross. Also left to mourn are many other relatives, loved nieces, nephews,

A celebration of life was held on Saturday the 8th of December at the Sacred Heart Parish Center, 4830 Straume Avenue, Terrace.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
