Wayne Robert Simmonds, 60, of Telkwa, British Columbia, unexpectedly passed away with the comfort of his wife and his sons by his side in Vancouver on August 23, 2018. A celebration of life was held on September 6 2018.
Wayne survived by his wife Valerie of 42 years, sons Davin (Nancy) Simmonds, Dory Simmonds (Sherri Morris), grandsons Brett McGregor, Duncan Simmonds, Harrison Simmonds, his sister Sherrie (Doug) Jones, brothers Brent Simmonds, Tim Simmonds, sisters-in-law Diane (Ken) Shannon, Nancy (Fred) Boyne, Sandi Bilau (Wade Hink) and many loving goddaughters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Wayne was a loving father, husband grandfather, godfather, uncle and friend to everyone.
