Vic passed peacefully away at age 78 from cancer on Nov. 5, 2010 with his loving wife Berta by his side.

He is survived by his wife Berta, sisters Anne, Violet, Rita and brother Dale, also numerous nephews and nieces. His step-children Audrey Connery, Harvey Burns, Ann Finch as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Vic and step-son Harvey were partners in Telkwa River Logging for several years and later Vic moved to Houston to log.

Several years later Vic sold his logging business and retired to the Penticton area where he met and married Berta.

Vic loved to hunt, fish, travel and dance. Vic and Berta spent many happy times pursuing these activities.

A “Celebration of Life” for Vic will be held on Sat., Nov. 27 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Penticton Red Wing Clubhouse, 161 Kingfisher Drive, Penticton, B.C.
