May 4, 1933 - June 9, 2002
Twila Maxine Brandon (Emmelot) (Dillabaugh) - born in Strathmore, Alberta, in 1933. Married at 21 years of age, and raised five children, widowed in 1986, remarried in 1987 and lost her eldest son, Laurens, in 1988.
Twila is survived by her husband Richard, children Wesley Emmelot (Maureen), Florence Lahaise (Wade), Martin Emmelot (Jenny), Marjorie Hidber (Stephen). She is also survived by her stepchildren Diane Fordyce (Steve), Marie Brandon (Shane), Mae Brandon, David Brandon (Kim), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Twila is predeceased by her first husband Laurens Tjibbe Emmelot and her son Laurens Emmelot.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Twila’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
May she rest in peace. She will live in our hearts forever.
