Trent was born and raised in Smithers, B.C., with a fearless passion for life! He was a free spirit and couldn’t be caged! At two years old he could pedal a bike for miles, then we put him on skates and hockey became his passion – he could skate like the wind, but wanted to be goalie, so he gave up his skates for a snowboard during the winter months and a skateboard throughout the summer.

He was determined for greatness and there wasn’t anyone who could hold him back. He was the “King of the Mountain!” His mentor was his cousin, Brant. His goals were of X Games and Whistler Mountain and he lived for being able to perform the best trick – one nobody else had ever done before. “I dare ya!” was one of his favourite expressions, and pitty the fools (like me) that did! His smile lit up every room and his inspiration and joy for life will never be forgotten.

You’ll forever be in our hearts and thoughts, Trent, and your legacy WILL live on in the many you’ve inspired. May the stars shine as bright for you as you have on us! We will miss you. Your family & friends!

Love Mom, Dad, Bobbi, Rebecca, and Grandma too!

A celebration of life will be held at a later time near the end of summer. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at Rayz Board Shop in Trent’s name.
