Theodore (Ted) Herman Jefferson left to rest in peace May 9, 2019. Born March 31, 1928 second to youngest son of Pioneers of Big Lake, BC, Herman and Chloe Jefferson. Ted made a career in the forest industry driving lumber truck and road building until he retired. His main hobby was hunting which he pursued until he was no longer able to do so. Gardening became his main interest after moving to Kitwanga where he resided for 12 years and where he never missed a berry patch. Ted was predeceased by his brothers Denis, Jessie, Vaughn (Mary), sisters Aver (Bob) Hutchinson and Lottie (Ed) Goetjen and nephew Bob Jefferson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Anne, Sons Doug and Pat (Terri) (Mitch and Danielle)great grandson Cash, Daughter Suzy, Grandsons Brendon and Devan Cummins. Brothers Lawrence (Pete) and Dan (Betty) and many nephews and nieces. The family thanks the caring service of the BC Ambulance members, the staff at Wrinch Memorial Hospital, and the Community of Kitwanga.
A Celebration of Life For Theodore (Ted) Jefferson will be held August 17, 2019 at the residence of John and Jane Cameron, 160 Snyder Road, Williams Lake, BC. Time 1-4p.m. a light lunch will be served. And bring your lawn chair.
