It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Teodoro Barbuto on September 30, 2020. Teodoro passed away suddenly in his home in Smithers, BC with his wife and children by his side.
Teodoro will be remembered as a wonderful and devoted Husband, Father, and Nonno who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He was a kind, caring, and compassionate man. No matter what challenges he faced in life, he always persevered and found the good in everything.
Teodoro is survived by his loving wife Sofia Barbuto of 57 years, his daughters Rachele Barbuto-Johnstone (Dave) and Antonella Scott (Rob), and his grandchildren Amanda Scott, Melissa Johnstone, Adriana Scott, and Michael Johnstone.
He is pre-deceased by his parents Antonio Barbuto and Rachele Mellace, sister Rosa Diaco, and granddaughter Christina Johnstone.
Teodoro is loved and missed by his family but will never be forgotten.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Smithers.
