Symon Koldyk
March 11, 1951 to Oct. 29, 2012
Symon passed away suddenly at home on Oct. 29, 2012 with his wife and son-in-law at his side.
Symon will be missed dearly by the love of his life, Jane, wife of 39 years and his mother, Evelyn Koldyk; his daughter Sheryl (Rich), Jessica, Emily, Tyrel & Daniel Horton; his daughter Jacqueline (Ron), Tyson, Nicole, Isaac & Natalie Groot; his son Wes (Jessie), Wyatt & Kaylee Koldyk; his son Daryl (Jessica), Symon & Reuben Koldyk; his daughter Jolene (Jon), & Jacob Mayer; Symon’s sister Rennie (Gerry) DeBoer; brother Don (Kate); brother Sid (Holly) and their families. He will also be missed by countless other extended family and friends. Symon was predeceased by his father John Koldyk.
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Symon was laid to rest on Nov. 3, 2012, in the company of his family and extended family.
Together we weep and together we praise our heavenly Father that Papa Symon is living for all eternity as a Child of God in his Father’s house. We can smile through our tears knowing that he is resting in the arms of our Saviour and that we will see him again.
