Sheryl Leigh Marcotte

July 31, 1970 – Nov. 27, 2008

Sherry Marcotte passed away from pneumonia at her home in Telkwa at the age of 38. She will always be remembered for her warm and contagious smile. A smile that lit up the moment and although, at times, she struggled with life Sherry gave to everyone with generosity and compassion.

She is survived by: daughters, Kimmey and Jessie Marcotte; father, Sheldon Adams; mother, Elaine Enders; brother, Darin (Joanne) and family; husband, Doug Marcotte; stepsisters, Corrina (Bill) and family; Sandy (Tim) and family; Tanya (Terry) and Anita (Derek) and family; grandmother, Rose Vincent and cousins: Tina (Ted) and family; Renee (Keith) and numerous extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Tyler; stepfather, Glen; grandfather, Harry; aunts Judy and Shirley.

Sherry had a passion for writing her thoughts into poetry. Her beautiful voice will remain a treasure in the memory and hearts of her family and friends. She will forever be as the angel in the sky to her two very special daughters.

A trust fund for the Marcotte girls Jessie and Kimmey has been set up at the Credit Union.

The family thanks Pastor Wittke for officiating the memorial service and the ladies of Mountain View Assembly for providing the tea after the service. Also a thank you goes to all of the family and friends who contributed flowers, food and gracious acts of support.

The memorial service was held at Mountain View Assembly December 4 at 2 p.m.
