STEWART, Sarah Ann, passed away peacefully at the Bulkley Lodge on October 14, 2011. Ann was born on October 8, 1916 in Vancouver, BC, daughter of Robert and Emma Scott.

Ann married Victor Johnston, and they worked and lived in Vancouver until moving to Riske Creek, BC in 1948. In 1956, Ann married Frank Stewart, and they moved to Cassiar, BC, where they owned and operated a guide outfitting business for 20 years. Ann moved to Watson Lake, YT in 2005, then to Smithers, in 2008.

Ann is pre-deceased by her husbands, Victor Johnston and Frank Stewart, brothers Dan, Gibb, Robert, Andrew, and stepson Larry. She is survived by her children George Johnston (Jacquie), Mickey Overton (Gene), Shuster Johnston (Heather), her stepchildren Stanley Stewart and Diane Callbreath, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Thank you to Al at Schrader’s Funeral Services. Cremation with no service requested. A memorial will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to charities of your choice in lieu of flowers.
