Sandra Lynn Evans born Sept. 10 1941 in Nipawin Saskatchewan, the much loved daughter of Roy and Pearl Evans passed away March 22, 2016. Raised in Cloverdale BC, she spent several years in the US before coming to the Kispiox Valley in 1971 and making her home. There she raised her children, gardens and lots of animals. Sandra worked, volunteered and found a connection in the valley community. She also made some amazing friends.
She is survived by her sister Holly Evans (Sheldon), daughter Kia Beertema (Henny), son Matthew Lewis (Veronica) and grandsons’ Scott and Max. Sandra was very proud of the adults that her children Kia and Matt had become, loved her grandchildren Scott and Max and all her animals. She will be missed by all who knew her.
