Sandi Leah Hiemstra passed away peacefully on Jan. 7 in the Bulkley Valley District Hospital in Smithers, after an almost two year battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband Reuben; sons Keaton and Conner; mother Alice; father Michael; mother-in-law Mary; father-in-law Pierre; sisters Melanie (Adam), Leslie (Orvil); brother-in-law Jesse; sister-in-law Rachael (Brendon).
Sandi loved to entertain, dance, and pursued life with exuberance and felt that anyone could achieve any goal if they put their heart and soul into it. With her magnetic personality and talkative manner, Sandi made friends wherever she went.
She will be missed by her family, numerous friends and co-workers.
