Robert van den Born

March 28, 1955 – December 13, 2014

Ever adored. Ever wanted. Ever missed by his Wife Teresa and his children, Geordie, Jessamine (Darrell), Gabriel, and Pandora. Pa-daddy to his beloved grandchildren Orin and Ethan.

Bob was the seventh child of a large, close, dynamic family that shaped his love of life and people. His late parents John and Christina created a joyful busy home with a strong work ethic that Bob took into his private and professional life every day. Though family came first he often said how much he loved the bush, the job and the people in it. His greatest joy was a challenge and a good machine.

We have so many wonderful memories in belonging to such an interesting and oftentimes exciting life. He had many friends in this valley finding time to happily meet as many as he could throughout his day and offer a hand or a joke to get a smile.

He is remembered by his children for his merry good humour in telling each they were his favourite while giving his best to them all. He was a much loved soul to his many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and all the dear ones Bob has loved belonging to the circle as well. We send with him our whole hearts in the deepest wish he is ever as warm and bright as he has been in our lives. The dogs both stand with me by the window and they dance when I say your name.

Thank you all for the kind words, wishes and support for Bob and his family.
