Anderson - Robert Coussmaker
Oct. 22, 1924 to Aug. 30, 2002
Robert was born in Penticton, B.C. and raised in Sidney, B.C. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in aircraft maintenance until the conclusion of the war where he returned to Sidney and joined the family business. In 1947, he married Isabell Wallace and together they raised 9 children. In 1970, after the sale of the family business, Robert and his family moved to Houston, B.C. where he operated a construction company until his retirement in the early 1980s. He and Isabell then moved to Smithers, B.C.
He is survived by Joyce (Lorne) Warren, Smithers, B.C., Douglas (Cathy) Anderson, Houston, B.C., Catherine (Joseph) Kleinbach, California, Gordon (Susan) Anderson, Sidney, B.C., Bruce Anderson, Telkwa, B.C., Margaret (Walter) Latkin, Grand Forks, B.C., John Anderson, Grand Forks, B.C., David Anderson, Smithers, B.C., Colin (Theresa) Anderson, Ontario, as well as 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Robert is predeceased by his wife Isabell in 1991 and his grandson, Brian Warren in 1978.
