It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Alvin Morris, age 53, of Terrace, B.C., on May 25, 2024.

Robbie was born on July 6, 1970, to Frances and Robert Morris in Kitimat, BC. After Rob graduated from Smithers Senior Secondary in 1989, he went on to study sports science at Grand Prairie College and play centre for the Wolves Basketball team.

After being schoolmates at their senior secondary school Rob and Catherine Boonstra fell in love in the fall of 1989 and married in the summer of 1998. Rob and Cathy went on to have their beloved daughter Caitlyn Rose in November of 2004. Terrace has been their family home for 20 years.

Robbie loved all sports growing up with his main interests including basketball and baseball. His favorite pastimes were fishing, reading, and sitting around the fire pit with friends and family sharing stories and having a good time, there was never a dull moment around the big guy. You could always hear his infectious laugh and it would make us all smile.

Will forever miss his amazingly huge hugs so you knew everything would be alright. He would do anything for his friends and truly loved his family, especially his girl Caitlyn. Left us way too soon....Will miss and love you forever.

Robbie is survived by his spouse, Catherine, his daughter Caitlyn, his sisters Leona (Morris) Pollard and Sherri Morris, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Robert Morris and Frances Lencucha, and his grandparents Melvin and Patricia Morris, Aloyes and Cecile Lencucha.

We will love and miss you forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Evangelical Church, in Terrace B.C., 4640 Park Ave., on July 6, 2024 at 1 pm. Please feel free to share a memory or story of Robbie there.
