Bruhjell — Rick passed away peacefully on Dec. 3, 2005 at the age of 55. He is survived by loving wife Linda, daughters Terri (Rob) and Tracey, granddaughter Jordyn — his pride and joy; his mother and father, Donn and Helen, brother Randy, sisters Debbie (Trevor), Tanya (Guido), Linda (Kevin) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Rick worked as an owner/operator truck driver for over 30 years, while living in Prince George. He loved his work and made many friends over the years. His employer, CPX of Langley, paid tribute to Rick at the memorial service, praising his work ethics and easy going manner, which was a joy to dispatch in an industry where congeniality is rare and valuable. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005 at Assman’s Funeral Home in Prince George with a tea following the service at the Pineview Hall. A donation in Rick’s memory may be made to an Education Fund for his granddaughter, Jordyn, at Spruce Credit Union in Prince George Account #35097-5.
