It’s with great sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of a wonderful woman and mother. Petra has left behind two adoring daughters, Nikaya (Brian) and Natasha. David Wensel, her loving companion, their dogs, Boomer and Tilly and Calvin the cat. She is survived by her mother, brother, sister and many other family and friends who reside in her homeland of Europe.
Petra originally came to Canada and lived with the father of her two daughters, Bernd Peiskar, for many years. She had spent the past five years in Victoria with David while the girls visited frequently from the mainland.
