Percy was born in Pouce Coupe B.C. on July 10th, 1924 to Sid and Daisy Sketchley of Sunset Prairie, B.C. He was the youngest of 4 boys, Harold, Dennis, Irving and Percy.
Percy was a kind and gentle man who took great pride in his health and longevity.
Percy passed away peacefully in G.R. Baker Memorial Hospital in Quesnel, B.C. on March 18th, 2021 with family at his side. He was 96 years young.
Predeceased by parents, Sid and Daisy, his 3 older brothers, Harold, Dennis and Irving, daughter, Beryl, and granddaughter, Kyla.
Survived by his wife Karen (Quesnel, B.C.), son Jim (Gayle) Sketchley (Quesnel, B.C.), son Byron (Clare) Sketchley (Topley, B.C.), daughter Debbie (Bob) Klein (Quesnel, B.C.), as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and stepchildren.
Sadly, Percy didn't achieve his goal of reaching 100 years young but grateful he went in peace.
