With gratitude for her long life, Penelope's family announces her peaceful passing May 9, 2018 at age 95. Penelope was predeceased by her husband Ken Pratt. Survived by her children Sandra (Don), Susan (Colin), Theresa (Wesley), grandchildren Bobbi-Jo, Nicole, Becky, Mack and 6 great-grandchildren.
Mom was an avid Vancouver Canucks fan, rarely missing a hockey game, never waiving from her support of the team. Mom loved watching the local wildlife in her backyard, in particular birds and especially her Crows. Her birds brought her great joy in her last few months.
Special thanks to Dr. Blouw, Dr. Page and Debbie at Coho Clinic and to her dear friends Mary, Jacquie and Betty. Sincere appreciation is extended to all the home health care providers who assisted Mom and family caregivers in allowing her to remain at home as long as possible. Thank you to Bulkley Lodge staff for ensuring Mom was comfortable during her final days. Respecting Mom's request, no public memorial will be held.
