TAYLOR, PAUL ROBERT 1915 - 2010: Peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Orchard Haven, Keremeos, B.C. Paul Robert Taylor, born September 18, 1915 in Yakima, Washington. When Paul was asked the secret of married life, he replied “the family that prays and reads the Bible together, stays together.” Lovingly remembered by children Rosalie Johnson (Lynn), Alvin (Janice), Paul LeRoy (Lois), Bonnie Sorenson (Olaf); 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; predeceased by brothers Ernest and David and sister Edith. Paul was a farmer and cattleman near Sunnyside and Othello, Washington then in Smithers and Cawston, B.C. Paul was a member of the Farmers’ Institute in Smithers B.C., Bulkley Valley Cattlemen and Washington State Farmers Co-op. He also served in local Christian Churches wherever he lived often as Board Chairman. Paul was very proud of his awarded Corn King trophy for most bushels per acre produced. In his life his hobbies were model railroading, antique tractors (Allis Chalmers), gardening and bird watching. Funeral and interment service has taken place. In memory of Paul donations may be made to the Similkameen Christian Fellowship Bible Camp Fund for Children, Box 116, Keremeos, B.C. V0X 1N0. The family wishes to thank Pastor and Mrs. Bodden, the congregation of SCF, all the Health Care Workers, volunteers, friends, neighbors and kind staff at Orchard Haven for their loving care Dad received, especially in the last few years.
