Lychak, Paul born in Hafford Saskatchewan on July 29, 1924 passed away peacefully at his sisters home in Armstrong on July 25, 2015.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Anna, brothers George, John, Mike, Joe, William, Steve, Harry, Metro, sister Helen, daughter-In-law Deleen. He is survived by his wife Lynn, sons Don (Jan) and Ed (Ronalee) grandchildren Becky, Wesley, Harley (Honey), Rob, Tanya (Bruce), Elizabeth (Richie), and John, great-grand-children Ashley (Kenton), Andrea (Devon), Abby, Adriana, Tamika, Dallas, Brady, Brandon, Kaden, Evan and Adam, sisters Kay and Mary and brother Tony, as well as many nephews and nieces. Paul made a home in the Evelyn area on his farm for the past 51 years.

Paul spent most of his working life working for the Department of Transport at the Smithers Airport. After retirement Paul could often be found on his farm working and tinkering on almost any project. His family was very important to him and he would help anyone who asked him. Paul was very instrumental in the construction of the new “Paul Lychak Community Hall” (Evelyn Hall).

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday August 6 at the Paul Lychak Hall (Evelyn Hall) at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either the Paul Lychak Community Hall Association (Evelyn Hall) account number 65359 or to the Smithers Diabetic Support Group account number 179275 at the Bulkley Valley Credit Union Box 3729 Smithers BC V0J 2N0
