Paul Dunn
January 10, 2006
Paul was born in St John’s, Newfoundland to Theresa and Fred Dunn on June 7th, 1960. He passed away, unexpectedly and peacefully at his home in Smithers on Jan 10th, 2007. He was the fourth of six siblings. Left to mourn his passing is his daughter, Carly, son Devin, brothers Garry, Carl, Gerard and David and sister Linda, sister in-law Barb, niece and nephew Shauna and Lee. Paul grew up in Goose bay, Labrador and moved to Smithers, when he was 18 years old. Paul was one of those rare “uncut” diamonds that had a true heart and lived a short and full life. He had an interest in others and a passion for life that introduced him to among others Lori and Natalie the mothers of his two children. Paul’s sincere interest in others made him a person that was known and liked by most people. Paul was a drilling and blasting contractor for most of his life. After a major blasting accident, which only he could survive, he worked at the Bulkley Lodge as a home support nurse. Paul had a passion for the mountains and knew the mountains around Smithers like only a few do. Snowmobiling and the outdoors used to be one of his true passions.
Paul, we will dearly miss your uncanny sense of wit and humor.
Good luck on your biggest adventure and God bless
Carl, Barb and friends.
