Nicholas Usen
On Friday, July 2, 2010 Mr. Nick Usen of Smithers, B.C. passed away at Vancouver, B.C. at the age of 81.
Nick is survived by his daughters Jeanne Usen (late Denis Lafrance) of Prince George, Trudy Kilner (Barrie) of Fort McMurray, AB, grandchildren Tina White, Todd White (Angie), Lee J. Leslie (Julie) and Jerri-Anne Miller (Garry), eight great grandchildren Samantha, Danica, Chelesa-Anne, Brendan, Jaxon, Caley, Ryleigh and Avery, sisters Mary Campbell (Al), Ruby Wade (late Les Wade), Eva Buchi (Fred), his best friend in life and death “Dukie,” and his special friend Dolores Krauskopf.
He is predeceased by his parents and brothers Danny, Sam and Stevie; sisters Annie and Nelly.
As per Nick’s request there will be no formal service, however, there will be a celebration of his life on July 15, 2010 between 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Old Experimental Farm (Penninga Home on Polar Road). Memorial tributes to the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
