Myrna McKenzie
August 6, 1942 - October 13, 2015
Survived by loving husband David and faithful dog Brew; son Glen, grandchildren Mieke, Maryke and Brandon; daughter Samantha, grandchildren Jessica, Trevor, Bailey, Nolan and Liam.
Myrna was born and raised in Vancouver and that is where she spent most of her life. She crossed paths with David from the time they were six years old. Finally in 2000 Myrna stopped long enough for David to catch her. In 2003 they came to Smithers to manage the Sandman Inn, fell in love with the community and got involved wherever possible. Her love of people brought out her quirky smile and cryptic sense of humour. She never said no when someone needed help.

A brief service will be held at the Old Church in Smithers on Friday October 30th, 2015 at 6:00 pm, followed by a Social celebrating Myrna’s life.
