CAMERON, Mr. Darrin Stephen, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and a lot of love and care.
Darrin is survived by his parents Shirley and Gary of Smithers, sister Lori (Chris) of Abbotsford, B.C.; grandmother Dorine Lloyd of Abbotsford, B.C.; uncles Steve (Margaret) Lloyd of Abbotsford, B.C.; Wayne (Jessie) Cameron of Smithers; Aunt Judy (Al) Hunter of Fraser Lake, B.C.; and other great-uncles, great-aunts, numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Darrin was born in White Rock, B.C., on Oct. 16, 1971. He attended school and lived in the area until moving to Smithers in 2003, going to work for Zellers. Darrin loved his music, hockey and a great rapport with animals.
There will be a service of remembrance for Darrin on Thursday, March 2, at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Small Hall. No flowers by request, but if friends so desire, memorial tributes to the cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the R.A. Schrader Funeral Home, Smithers, 847-2441.
