Michael Wolf
August 16, 1958 to May 2, 2009
Mike passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his brother Klaus in 1980, his father Helmut in 1983, his daughter Nicole in 2001, his son Austin in 2002 and his mother Edmunde in 2007.
Mike is survived by his wife Barb, daughter Meghan, sons Thomas, Eric and Dallas, also sisters Eveline/Steve Kolida and Melanie/Rod Worth and brothers-in-law Ken/Vicki Armstrong and Tim/Cecilia Armstrong and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike and Barb were married in Prince George in 1982. After starting a family there, they moved to Smithers in 1993 and started Starlight Transport Freight Company and one in Houston.
Funeral services were held at the First United Church on 8th Ave in Smithers on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., interment at the Smithers cemetery and a brunch followed at 3:00 p.m. at the First United Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help funeral expenses would be appreciated and can be dropped off at Starlight Transport on Victoria Drive.
