Mike passed away suddenly at his home in Kelowna, BC on August 27, 2021 at the age of 61.
Mike was born on June 28, 1960, to Kurt and W. Inge Rosger in Murdochville, QC. In 1970, his family moved to Smithers, BC where he was raised, went to school, and worked at PIR for 41 years as a Millwright. Mike retired in 2017 and had recently moved to the Okanagan.
Mike loved God with all his heart and his Church families in Smithers and Kelowna were significant to him. He was actively involved in his Churches and was always willing to help when he was needed. Mike was currently participating in a Church planting in the Okanagan at the time of his passing.
Mike was well known for his generosity and willingness to always lend a helping hand; he always had a pair of work gloves ready in his truck. Mike loved fishing and shared many memories on the ocean with his friends doing what he loved. He enjoyed the finer things in life and found joy in sharing good food with good company and discussions about life and current events.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson Niko.
He is survived by his two children Nicholas (Carly) and Lando (Kristy); his grandchildren Dakota, Casey, Theo, Rupert and Anna; his brothers Chris (Anne), Mark, and Robert (Katrina); and several nieces, nephews and grand nephews.
