GREGERSON, Mary Margaret passed away peacefully in the Bulkley Lodge in Smithers, B.C. on August 7, 2010.

Margaret was born in Smithers where the old city hall was located. She was raised on the Gregerson farm in Evelyn and attended the one room school there as well. Margaret worked for many years in Telkwa for the Dockerill family and also worked in Tulameen, B.C. Upon returning to the area she worked at a number of different jobs throughout the valley. She really enjoyed travelling to many vacation spots such as Alaska, Hawaii, New Zealand and various places in the USA visiting relatives. Margaret liked spending time with her family and had a special place in her heart for animals. She resided in Pioneer Place for a number of years and really enjoyed her life there and the friendliness of the people living there.

A Service of Remembrance was held on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Place Activity Centre with Rev. Daphne Moser officiating and Mary Spicer playing the organ. Cremation was held previously and her cremains were interred with her mother in the Smithers Cemetery.

Margaret is survived by her twin sister Jean Heal of Smithers, niece Barbara (Brian) Hurstfield of Sorrento, B.C., nephew Lawrence Heal of Prince Rupert, B.C. and many great nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Bulkley Lodge were greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
