Mary Ciampichini

January 14, 2006

In loving memory of Mary Ciampichini

Born in Pendelton, Virginia August 14, 1922, Mary passed away peacefully in her home (of the last 22 months) in Telkwa on January 14, 2006. Predeceased by her husband Vincent in April 2004 after 60 years of marriage. Mary and Vince immigrated to Quick from Pennsylvania with their family in 1972 where they pioneered the land with their three sons (and their wives). They enjoyed watching their sons build homes and start families and always had time for their five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mary and Vince are missed by many, especially the grandkids who all have special memories of time spent at their house in Quick, talking around the table while eating crackers with honey. Mary and Vince were known for their witty sense of humour.

Both loved being outdoors, long walks and time with nature. Vince loved hunting and fishing and Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting and cooking wonderful meals with her home-grown veggies. They took pleasure in planting beautiful trees and flowers around their home. Grandma and Grandpa leave behind many happy thoughts and will forever be deeply missed.

“True enjoyment is the memory it leaves behind.”

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkingson Foundation would be appreciated.
