Marvin was born on January 13, 1938 in Meeting Creek, AB and passed away February 28, 2016 in Hazelton, BC. He is survived by daughters Judy, Dianne, Donna (Rick); son Jim; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, twin sister, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Nick served his country for 22 years in the Royal Canadian Navy, based in Esquimalt, BC. He retired from the Navy in 1978, moving to the Kisipox Valley in Hazelton. He resided in the valley for approximately two years before moving to South Hazelton. Nick worked many jobs such as councilor for troubled youth, mill worker and security guard before settling in as assistant manager at the Hazelton Govt. Liquor Store. He worked there for 10 years until he retired at the age of 65.

Nick was a talented woodworker. He enjoyed long snowmobiling and quad riding trips with family and friends. He also was an avid hunter and chess player.

The family would like to thank everyone for their calls of love, care and support. As per Nick’s request there will be no funeral service. Condolences may be offered at www.raschraderfuneralhome.com.
