Mark Steven Adams

Mark was born in Edmonton, Alberta. The family moved to Iskut, B.C. in 1968. Mark attended school in Iskut and was also on correspondence.
Mark worked for Highways in Good Hope Lake, Tatogga Lake and Dease Lake.
Mark had four children Denise, Jeneal, Crystal and Lacie.
Mark and Jody, his loving partner, moved to Smithers in 1998 where he worked and made a lot of new friends.
Diagnosed with Lung Cancer in 2000. Mark lost his valiant battle at the Bulkley Valley Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to the Prostate Cancer Screening Program in memory of Mark Adams, c/o Bulkley Valley Credit Union, Smithers, B.C.
Even though you are gone from us, you are still helping others.
A memorial service was held on May 31, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Church.
Mark was laid to rest in the Dease Lake Cemetery on June 5, 2002 surrounded by his extended family of the North.
We love you Mark, but know you are now free of pain.
