ASTORINO
1926-2007
On May 14, 2007 Mario Astorino of Kamloops, BC, passed away at the age of 81 years.
Beloved husband of Michelina and dear father of Valerie (Gary) Kidd of Kamloops and Mary (Richard) White of Smithers. He also leaves to cherish his memory six grandchildren, Ryan (Vicky), Aaron (Soria) Troy, Natalie, Jessica and Nicole as well as two great grandchildren Lynden and Kylan.
Mario was born on April 23,1926 in Scigliano Cosenza, Italy, and came to Canada in 1954 residing in the Prince George area and working with CNR for the next few years, before moving to McBride in 1956.
In 1957 he was joined by his loving wife Michelina and later moved to Smithers in 1959 before coming to Kamloops and retiring in 1990.
Mario loved gardening and tending to his fruit trees and making wine.
HE WILL BE SORELY MISSED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY,
AND MANY DEAR FRIENDS.
The Mass of Christian Burial was held in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Kamloops BC, on May 18, 2007.
