LUCY NAMOX
Hereditary Chief “Goohlaht”
March 13, 1929 – Jan. 12, 2009
Lucy Namox was promoted to the heavens on January 11, 2009 in the St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver. Lucy had 13 children with JB (Pat) Namox.
Although our loss is profound, it is heaven’s gain. Lucy had a very strong bond with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Up to the day that she left us, she cared for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lucy has been promoted and is rejoicing with those who she desperately missed and prayed for daily.
We thank the Wet’suwet’en Hereditary Chiefs and their members for your prayers, love and support. We acknowledge our neighboring nations for your honored presence and support.
Nurse Rachel who showed so much compassion and empathy for her patient, our mother, grandmother.
Celebration of life was celebrated at the Moricetown Multiplex with Father Simon Officiating on Saturday, January 17, 2009.
