September 14, 1938 - May 9, 2019
On Thursday, May 9, 2019, Linda Grace Fuller Smith went to be with the Lord at the age of 80. Linda Grace was born on September 14, 1938, to her parents, Dorothy Hope and John Nathan Fuller.
Her homeland Grand Pre, Nova Scotia, situated in the beautiful Annapolis Valley was always held dear in her heart. In August 1957, she married Millard Allan Smith and together raised two children, Christa Anne and Gregory Alan. As a young military family, their postings lead them to Iserlohn, Germany, the Ottawa valley in Ontario, and the Maritime provinces.
Eventually her courage and adventurous spirit lead her to British Columbia. Linda lived out her faith with a quiet spirit yet was able to reach out to encourage others with meaningful words and care.
She had a passion and talent for painting, sketching, and gardening. She was often seen biking, cross country skiing, or walking where ever there was beauty to be found. Linda is remembered fondly by many for her creative talent, her adventurous spirit, her love of nature, and her wonderful sense of humour.
She is survived by her sisters, Janette Uyterlinde (Kleis) and Carol Fancy; daughter Christa Anne (William LaFountain) and son Gregory Alan; her four grandsons William (Paige), Jesse (Tawnya), Joshua (Tory), and Ryan (Chantal); and one sweet little great-granddaughter Roen Jayde.
She was predeceased by her parents John and Dorothy Fuller and her three brothers John, Terrance, and Gerald.
A memorial service will be held at the Smithers Baptist Church on Saturday, May 18th at 2 pm.
