Linda Diane Hause (nee Cronin)

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Linda on Easter Sunday, with family by her side.
Linda was born in Selkirk, Manitoba, to George and Elsie Cronin. The only girl of 4 children. In the late 70's she moved to Thompson, Manitoba, where she met her husband, Melvin Hause. On April 4, 1981 they got married. 5 months later they welcomed their only daughter Brandy (Sept. 15/81).
In the early 90's the Hause's finally settled down in Smithers, EC for the past 30+ years. Linda has worked in many of the local stores, but is mostly know for working at Video Update and No. 1 Video. (The video store lady)
Linda was an avid dart player in the Bulkley Valley Dart League for over 20 years. Winning many awards, as well as tournaments. Her witty comments will surely be missed by all the dart players!
Linda is predeceased by her parents George and Elsie Cronin, and her baby brother Patrick Cronin. Linda is survived by her husband of 42 years Melvin Hause, daughter Brandy Ebare (Anthony), granddaughter Emalee Ebare. Her two brothers Randy Cronin of Matlock Manitoba, Toni Cronin (Edith) of Selkirk, Manitoba, Joe Hause and Ray Hause. Along with Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Linda will be truely missed by everyone who knew and loved her!
A big thank you to BVDH staff for their kindness that they have shown towards our family. And also a huge heartfelt thank you to Charlotte Coles for being by her side during the last couple of weeks.
A Celebration of Life Will be held on June 3, 2023 at the Smithers Legion at 1:00 pm.
