Lawry is known for his sense of humour and contagious laugh, joy, compassion, his tremendous heart, and unwavering faith. He is remembered for his kindness and love for people from every walk of life, never leaving a party without cleaning up, and for singing nearly everywhere he went.
He is predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Betty Lund, and leaves behind his loving wife Colleen, his children with their spouses Kiesha (Ryan), Cody (Kari), Rachel (Joseph), as well as his grandchildren, Keely, Grady and Jack, sister Rhonda (Gary) Ott and brother Peter (Rona) Lund.
