Lavona May Birkeland
May 19, 1920 to Dec. 15, 2012
Lavona passed away peacefully with family at her side. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, her son Ode, daughter Dolores Shankel and her companion Ed Brooks. She is survived by sons Stan (Sue), Brian (Tanis), daughter Chris (Mike) Morris and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A service was held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Prince George at 2 p.m. Dec. 20, 2012. Interment to take place in Telkwa, B.C. on Jan. 3, 2012 at 11 a.m.
