1939-2021 ~ Larry passed away peacefully in the Houston Residential Care on May 19th, after a long battle with kidney disease. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by his four children, Richard, Linda, Brent and Bobbie, whom he loved totally. All currently live in Ontario. Larry was born in Hanover, Ontario and as a teenager he was proud to join the Navy.
After his time in the Navy, her toured through the western provinces. When he saw Smithers, he knew that this was where he wanted to live.
He worked at SuperValu for many years, having learned meat cutting and the grocery trade from his father who owned a Red & White grocery store in Walkerton, Ontario. He spent most of his free time with outdoor activities which included fishing, hunting, camping, photography, exploring and quadding.
Life could not get much better for him than when he was surrounded by nature.
All who knew Larry recognized that he was one of a kind and he is sorely missed by his family and friends. For a large part of Larry's life, wolves held a special place in his heart and now his spirit is running with his own wolf pack.
