Justin Alfred Bolger

Justin was born April 8, 1981 in Hazelton. Justin was sadly taken away from his family after losing his battle to a brain tumour on April 14, 2002.

Justin is survived by his parents, Jim and Iona; brothers, Brad and Courtney; pet, Popples Dog; Grandparents, Frank and Shirley Spisak; Step Grandfather, Fred Alexander; Aunts, Cheri Spisak (Rennie), Janet Spisak, Noel Bolger; Uncle, Loren; Cousins, Jason, Angie, Tim, Joel, Lindsay, Owen, Lee, Dylan and Shane. Predeceased by Grandmother, Freda Alexander; Grandfather, George Bolger; Uncles, Frank Spisak and Wally Bolger.

Justin will be remembered by the gift he extended to us all. This gift consisted of his courage, his dignity and his strength. Justin faced the last eleven months with the depth of character that most strive a lifetime to achieve. Justin was able to convey to family and friends his passion for his music, his passion for a good family story and humour that kept us smiling. With these gifts and the many more that made Justin the special young man he was, we hold him forever in our hearts.

Memorial, by June Simon

If tears could build a stairway

and heartaches make a lane,

we’d walk the path to Heaven

and bring you back again.

A heart of gold stopped beating

A shining smile at rest

God broke our hearts to prove

He only takes the best.

Our family chain is

broken again

and nothing seems the same,

but God will call us one by one

and the chain will link again.
