Joyce Lee Warren passed away on March 28, 2012. Joyce was born to the late Robert and Isabelle Anderson in Sidney B.C. on June 26, 1948. After moving to Smithers, she married Lorne Warren in 1971 and remained in Smithers throughout her life.
Joyce’s husband Lorne, son Chris, daughter in-law Tashia, and grandson Brian will miss her love and support. She is survived by her siblings Doug (Kathy) Anderson, Katherine (Joe) Kleinbach, Gordon (Sue) Anderson, John (Brette) Anderson, Margaret (Willie) Latkin, Dave (Di-anne) Anderson, and Colin (Theresa) Anderson. She was predeceased by her son Brian in 1978 and her brother Robert Bruce Anderson in 2009.
Joyce’s life was celebrated along with family and friends at the Hudson Bay Lodge on Monday, April 9. In lieu of flowers donations to the British Columbia Lung Association would be appreciated and can be sent to PO Box 3009, Stn D, Vancouver, BC, V6J 9Z9.
