John Albert Laidlaw passed away at the age of 82 years, on November 2, 2015 at his home in Creston, BC after a lengthy illness.
John was born and educated in Smithers, BC.
He and Marie were married at the United Church in Smithers BC, on March 1, 1954, and were married for 61 years. They raised four children; John (Diane), George (Vernel), RaeJean (Ritchie), and Cristal (Evan), who gave them eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
John lived in Smithers for 80 years. Marie and John then moved to south to Creston, BC. John enjoyed hockey, fishing and playing cards with his loved ones.
He will always be remembered
as a very good grandfather, great dad,
and a loving husband.
