December 6, 1962 - February 8, 2023
In Loving Memory ~
With the heaviest of hearts, we lay Jody Victor Bradley to rest on February 17th, 2023, in his hometown of Smithers.
Jody was born at the Smithers Hospital to Victor and Sharron Bradley on December 6th, 1962.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Teresa Bradley, their children, Katlyn Bradley (Mackenzie), Liam Bradley (Emma), Elyse Bradley (Matthew), Garrett Bradley (Renesha), and grandchildren, Alexander Victor Lychack (Katlyn and Mackenzie), Forrest Emery David, Baxter Boleyn Koa Bradley (Liam and Emma), Luxanne Vienna, Faeden Lysander Bradley (Garrett and Renesha), his siblings Sabra (Claudio) Bortolussi, Tim (Belinda) Bradley along with many nieces and nephews who adored him.
Jody was an active member of the Smithers Rod and Gun Club and a true classic motorcycle enthusiast. His contribution to the valley and his community was through his years as a volunteer fire fighter at the Smithers Fire Department (1991-2000), his handmade BBQ (Binford 2000) used at the celebrity golf tournaments and local CHIP Run, and his " My door is always open" at his shop or in his home.
Jody managed to balance his love for his family with his love for his craft and support for new tradesmen in his similar field.
His meticulous eye for detail helped him grow his career as a welder fabricator. A bursary fund has been established by the family to support Youth in Trades.
Contributions may be sent via email at Jody.V.Bradley@gmail.com or may be deposited at the Bulkley Valley Credit Union to the "JVB Youth in Trades" account.
Never forgotten, always loved.
